Hyerim Lee

Born in South Korea, Hyerim Lee is an active pianist, chamber musician, and pedagogue. Her musical journey began to flourish during her teenage years when she won the second prize at OSAKA International Competition and became a laureate at Ettlingen International Piano Competition. After moving to the United States, she became a finalist of William C. Byrd Competition, the second prize winner of MTNA Young Artist Piano Competition, a finalist of Lewisville Lake Symphony International Competition, and a semi-finalist of Rio de Janeiro International Piano Festival. In 2023, she won the first prize at Music International Grand Prix in New York. In 2024, she co-founded the LNY Piano Concert Series through which she has been engaging diverse audiences in Michigan, Ohio, California, and Canada Ontario.

Hyerim earned her Bachelor degree from Seoul National University and earned Master degree in Piano Performance and Chamber Music at the University of Michigan where she is currently pursuing her Doctoral degree under Christopher Harding.
